I’ve been thinking a lot about spending more time (and money…) into curating a carefully chosen wardrobe, thanks to the capsule wardrobe concept and my experience with my winter capsule. Specifically, I want to upgrade my everyday wardrobe with pieces that I won’t tire of after a season, and to put more thought and care into the clothes I wear for work and formal occasions. I’ve finally managed to nail down my personal style, which is an awesome feat. Now, I feel like it’s time to acquire some professional items of clothing for work because I’m a ~professional young lady~ and I really need to sort this out. (I’ll get to the formal stuff last. Since I already have the bulk of what I need for that and rarely use it, I’m not particularly concerned.)
I’m supposed to switch to a spring capsule wardrobe in March, so I’m looking at what suitable wardrobe items I already have and what I need to buy to fill in the gaps. (Honestly, though, it’s hard to wrap my head around spring fashion when it’s snowing outside!) Which then led me to realize that I built my winter capsule with the idea that the items in it could work for work and casual wear, and that maybe it was time to experiment with two separate capsules come spring.
