A major topic I have on the brain this morning is work and, well, I don’t really want to write about that (nor would it be interesting for you to read!) So here is a very overdue “coffee date” post. I really should write posts in this format more often 🙂
If we were on a coffee date, I’d ask you if you subscribed to my newsletter yet (and would encourage you to if you haven’t already!) It’s called “Notes from MP” and hits inboxes on the first Wednesday of the month. I write exclusive personal essays that cover the subject of love, loss, honesty, and everything in between. I’d really love it if you subscribed! It’s been an interesting (and positive) experience in getting more personal online than I do here on my blog.
If we were on a coffee date, I’d tell you that I went to a pottery workshop this past weekend and made two bowls, a dish, and three spoons. I have no idea if they will turn out well, because the instructor was not super great at explaining the glazing and painting options, but even if they look aesthetically displeasing hopefully they will at least be functional pieces.
